About the Role
As a Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will assess patients, diagnose disorders that impact swallowing and speaking, and provide treatment. You will counsel individuals and their families on ways to improve and support personalized treatment plans, and update patient records according to department processes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Counsel patients and families on strategies to support treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- Current Missouri state license
- Advanced degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension)
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Schedule
13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026. Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,310 (includes estimated weekly stipend of $1,246).
