About the role

Assess patients, diagnose disorders that impact swallowing and speaking, and provide treatment. Counsel individuals and their families on ways to improve and support personalized treatment plans. Update patient records according to department processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients’ speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Diagnose specific disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy to improve speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions
• Counsel patients and families on strategies to support treatment goals and home practice
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with department procedures

Requirements

• Current Ohio state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited speech-language pathology program

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,398.

Schedule

13-week assignment starting 08/24/2026. Shift: four 10-hour day shifts per week.
