About the role
Location: Rutland, Vermont. Duration: 17 Weeks. Start Date: 09/14/2026. Shift: 5x8 Days.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients.
- Diagnose disorders that can impact swallowing and speaking.
- Provide treatment for patients.
- Counsel individuals and their families on ways to improve and support personalized treatment plans.
- Update patient records according to the department’s processes.
Qualifications
- Current Vermont license.
- Advanced degree from an accredited program.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension.
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.

Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,238. Estimated weekly stipend: $1,246.
