Speech Therapist (SLP)

About the role

The Center at Park West is a skilled nursing facility offering care to patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Our team includes highly qualified, caring professionals who provide care in a beautiful, hotel-like atmosphere to help patients achieve strength and functionality. We complement our care with psychological support, discharge planning, and a range of amenities to encourage each patient's transition to their highest functional level.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech Therapy
• Must hold current and active Colorado State license
• Must have current CPR Certification
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
• Two years’ experience in Skilled Nursing Facility care or related setting preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Pay

Bonus available for full-time candidates paid out across a year, reaching full-time hours worked levels.
