Speech Therapist (SLP)

About the role

Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services in a skilled nursing facility, including evaluation, treatment planning, therapy, family education, and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient needs to the interdisciplinary team
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with reimbursement guidelines
• Educate staff and payers on the benefits of speech-language interventions
• Ensure patient safety through professional clinical judgment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
• Develop new programs as needed
• Utilize electronic medical and rehabilitation systems for documentation and care delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
• Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (preferred)

Schedule

Flexible per-diem or full-time options available.

Pay

$55–$70 per hour.
