Speech Therapist - PRN (Home Health)

About the role

This position involves providing home health speech therapy services to patients, focusing on rehabilitation and improving communication, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing functions. The therapist evaluates, develops treatment plans, administers diagnostic tests, and monitors patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, voice, and related disorders in patients' homes or facilities
• Develop, review, and modify individualized treatment plans
• Administer diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on communication strategies and alternative systems
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of speech therapy or speech-language pathology experience
• Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Pay
