Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the healthcare team
- Perform interventions to improve communication and functional abilities
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting responses and changes to supervisors
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy practices and exercises
- Provide care in diverse home settings, respecting all clients regardless of background
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed in Speech Therapy within the state of residence
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Preferred: Weekend availability
