About the Role
A PRN Speech Therapist position providing home-based pediatric therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients and develop personalized treatment plans based on physician orders
- Initiate therapy, monitor progress, and communicate with families, physicians, and team members
- Document evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and maintain compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with the care team and participate in care planning and training sessions
- Provide education to clients, families, and staff as needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent experience, especially with neurological disorders in children and adults
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with evaluation materials, documentation, and basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in geriatric rehabilitation
- Experience with augmentative devices
