Speech Therapist - PRN

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist with pediatric experience for a PRN role providing home health services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating clients and developing personalized treatment plans based on physician orders
• Implementing therapies to improve communication, voice, swallowing, and related functions
• Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulations
• Communicating client progress with families, physicians, and team members
• Participating in care planning, team meetings, and staff training
• Providing education to clients, families, and staff as needed
• Providing timely therapy services and documenting all clinical activities
• Collaborating with healthcare teams and participating in client care planning
• Educating clients, families, and staff; adhering to regulatory standards
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Clinical Services Director

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC or equivalent experience working with neurological disorders in adults/children
• Valid state license or active licensing requirements in progress
• Registered or eligible with the Department of Health
• Membership in professional associations recommended

• Ability to operate computers and augmentative devices
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and independent clinical reasoning
