Responsibilities

• Help patients regain their ability to communicate, swallow, and address speech or language disorders or deficits.
• Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehabilitation services, including designing and executing patient care plans.
• Address the whole patient as an individual, restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing their speech and communication abilities.
• Adapt to the needs of patients and thrive in varied work settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
• Perform related tasks such as cleaning equipment, attending meetings, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly-titled area consistent with ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) standards.
• A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Candidates eligible to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence are also accepted.
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $50.00 - USD $65.00 per hour.
