About the role
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Health Care Connectors is responsible for assessing patients' speech and language abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapies to support communication improvement. This position requires excellent communication, clinical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CT)
- Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients and families
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
What You’ll Do
- Assess patients' speech and language abilities to develop accurate diagnoses
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' needs
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and primary care providers
- Maintain patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
Pay
$70.00 - $100.00 per hour
