Speech Teacher

About the role

The Niagara Falls City School District is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, flexible, and engaging Speech Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year. The position is open to both new and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach speech and language courses to students at all grade levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate technology.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
• Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the Teacher Resource Center at Niagara Falls High School.

Requirements

• New York State Certification required.
• Experienced teachers may receive credit for prior years of service in other public schools.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with differentiated instruction.

Pay

Salary range: $53,976.00 - $77,126.00, competitive.
