SPEECH PATHOLOGIST/THERAPIST

Responsibilities

• Performs speech therapy evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
• Provides written evaluation and plan of care to the physician.
• Reassesses patients monthly to update plan of care.
• Serves as supervisor for speech therapy assistants and other support staff.
• Continuously improves SLP knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Texas State Speech Therapy License required, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
