About the Role

Provides specialized speech-language pathology services by assessing, diagnosing, and developing tailored treatment plans for patients. Acts as a leader and mentor for Clinical Fellowship Candidates, students, and therapy aides, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care and educates patients and families on diagnoses and long-term management. Maintains accurate documentation and participates in departmental activities, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrates advanced clinical skills, flexibility in therapy techniques, and sound judgment in delegating tasks. Supports departmental goals, maintains productivity standards, and contributes to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients
  • Create and revise individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques
  • Monitor and document patient progress
  • Provide education to patients and families on diagnoses and long-term management
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory standards
  • Support departmental objectives, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor Clinical Fellowship Candidates, students, and therapy aides

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure or equivalent certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Clinical competency in speech-language pathology
  • Effective communication and data management abilities

No prior experience required; supervision and mentorship roles are integral to the position.
