Role Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients and develops individualized care plans addressing speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. Services are delivered across various settings, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Implement and adjust treatment plans, selecting appropriate therapy activities to meet patient goals.Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and community resource referrals.Collaborate with physicians to assess and establish treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information per departmental protocols.Maintain professional and ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.Promote a positive, respectful environment, fostering teamwork and excellent customer service using AIDET principles.Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.Adhere to organizational policies, infection control, and safety protocols. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or related field.Licenses and certifications including SLP and BLS required upon hire.Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
