Responsibilities
- Provide services in both the mainstream and special education settings for students of all abilities
- Conduct case management, including writing and maintaining compliant IEPs, as well as facilitating meetings
- Determine need and administer appropriate assessments
- Present evaluation results in a comprehensive manner and share results with team members, both orally and in written reports
- Comply with all state and federal guidelines
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and share best practices
- Excellent communication with parents, teachers, administration, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote and support student success
- Interest in participating in the school community outside of the classroom
- Exemplary time management and organizational skills
- Support a total communication approach that may include AAC devices
Qualifications
- Valid Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Current and valid CHRC
