Speech Pathologist Part time $5K Sign on Bonus

Amedisys is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this part-time, daytime role with a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Pay

Attractive hourly pay range: $42/hr–$56/hr.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)* with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum at a CAA-accredited college or university
• Current CPR certification

*If CCC-SLP certification has not been obtained, the candidate must be placed into the SLP Clinical Fellow (100910) job. Clinical Fellowship (CFY) involves supervision, hour requirements, and mentoring.

Preferred

• One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology
