About the role
The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy for students who have been identified as needing this service through the IEP process, and will conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of these students.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students identified with speech and language needs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students as per their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and IEP meetings to discuss student progress and needs
- Keep accurate records of therapy sessions and evaluations
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Current state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with students with a variety of speech and language disorders
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for working with children and adolescents
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
- Proficiency in using speech-language assessment tools and techniques
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
