About the role
The immediate vacancy is located in Halawa to Kalihi. The position involves participating in and being responsible for a major content area of the speech-language program, involving planning, organizing, coordinating, and assisting in the conduct of such a program; or providing diagnostic evaluation and/or therapeutic services in the area of speech-language under the general supervision of a non-technical supervisor.

- Provides diagnostic evaluation and/or therapeutic services in the area of speech-language under the general supervision of a non-technical supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: A master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Speech Pathology.
- Experience Requirement: One (1) year of professional experience which dealt with the detection, prevention or the application of remedies for the alleviation or treatment of speech-language disorders, or teaching speech pathology at the graduate level in an accredited university. This experience must be comparable to the Speech Pathologist III in State service.
Qualifications
- License: Applicants MUST possess a valid license from the Hawaii State Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology to practice as a Speech Pathologist in the State of Hawaii.
- Driver's License: Applicants MUST possess a valid Type-3 Driver's License at the time of appointment.

Pay
$7,018 to $7,479 per month (SR-22, Step D to I - Salary includes Shortage Category Differential).
