Speech Pathologist/Audiologist Specialist 1
About the role
The UW Medical Center-Montlake – Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Clinic seeks an Audiologist Specialist 1 who will independently plan, direct, and administer evaluations and interventions for patients throughout the medical center. The role requires seeking mentorship and training in evaluating and treating patients with complex diagnoses, collaborating with other disciplines, and participating in program development and quality improvement tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat routine patients using training in the evaluation and treatment process.
- Aid patients in reaching their maximum performance and function.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Participate in infection control, equipment training, compliance, safety, and educational programs.
Requirements
Licensed by the State of Washington as an Audiologist or equivalent education/experience with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Qualifications
Experience in working with patients in a clinical setting, particularly those with complex medical conditions, is preferred.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency in using clinical software systems.

Pay
Pay range: $49.48 to $68.71 hourly.
