Location: Goshen, NY (on-site)
Schedule
Part-time — Monday through Friday, afternoon hours or 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, and Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with communication difficulties.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients.
- Consult and collaborate with family members and other medical professionals as needed.
- Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty.
- Identify clients' goals for treatment.
- Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses specific functional needs.
- Teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) — Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Experience in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders in infants, children, and adults
- Experience with a variety of treatment approaches and populations, including pediatric and geriatric
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Experience with SOAP notes and use of EMR (support provided)
- Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Commitment to continuing education and staying up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in speech‑language pathology
