Speech Language Therapist

Position Details

Shift: Day Shift
Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day
Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient, or Skilled Nursing Facility (based on placement)
Status: Full-time contract (40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP or upon availability

Pay

Competitive weekly compensation based on experience and setting

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress according to facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function

Requirements

• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (CFY considered for strong candidates)
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent SLP experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and empathy
