Speech Language Pathology Assistant Part Time - $45-$50 per hour

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the delivery of speech and language services to high school students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting communication development to help students achieve educational and functional goals. The SLPA reports to the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Head of School and will work primarily with the SLP for service-related needs. Key Responsibilities Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in assessing and evaluating clientsImplement and deliver treatment plans designed to improve speech and language skillsMaintain thorough documentation and monitor client progress regularlyWork collaboratively with school staff and other professionals to ensure coordinated service deliveryEducate clients and their families on communication strategies and resourcesParticipate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge Requirements Qualifications Current state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or school settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient organizational abilities with attention to detailAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to ongoing professional development and growth in the fieldMust complete an approved course of academic study, as well as a supervised clinical experience, successfully pass the ASHA Assistants Certification Exam, and meet credentialing requirements Benefits 1099 Contract position Part-Time $45-$50 per hour
