About the role

The Staff Speech-Language Therapist (ST) I is responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans, and providing on-going treatments designed to improve the patient's functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives. Meets all clinical, organizational, and position requirements as defined in the Speech Therapy policies for Scope of Practice and Professional Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Complete evaluations for patients.
  • Develop written treatment plans.
  • Provide on-going treatments to improve patient functional status.
  • Adhere to clinical, organizational, and position requirements as defined in Speech Therapy policies for Scope of Practice and Professional Standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university; or
  • Master's Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in Inpatient Rehab, Acute and/or Outpatient (preferred).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $48.79 - $75.74 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

  • Part time.
  • 8-hour Day Shifts.
