Job Snapshot

To teach by implementing a flexible program and creating an environment favorable to learning and personal growth by:

  • encouraging students to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to obtain a good foundation for continuous growth and development;
  • providing students with experiences which integrate the effective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions of learning;
  • establishing effective rapport with students and their parents;
  • assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.

Education And Experience Requirements

A current New Mexico Educator's License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and parents

Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements

Position Available

2026-27 School Year.

Salary

Nine months (193 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Ancillary Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent.

Conditions of Employment

Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty.

The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent.

Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations.
