Start Date: ASAP for the 2025/2026 school year. Full-time role (37.5 hours/week) serving K-12 students. Location: 100% remote or on-site opportunities in Pennsylvania.
About the role
E-Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to PreK-12 students. The successful candidate will help students develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders through comprehensive assessments, individualized therapy plans, and evidence-based techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support students' communication goals in classroom and other settings.
- Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote speech and language development.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Current ASHA certification.
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in teletherapy (preferred).
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology (preferred).
