Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per Diem

About the Role

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides quality language and communication services for children, focusing on assessment, therapeutic treatment planning, and service delivery using best practice modalities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress through data analysis, making modifications as needed.
• Demonstrate and model effective, therapeutic intervention strategies.
• Provide coaching and consultation to staff for continuity and generalization across settings.
• Collaborate with all members of the child’s team.
• Assess, recommend, and implement appropriate communication modalities and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems to meet individual needs.
• Facilitate age-appropriate independence in gross motor coordination, balance, strengthening, and motor planning activities.

Requirements

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Experience with children or adults with varying exceptionalities.
• Pass a criminal background check, employment physical, and drug screen.
