Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) - Afterschool Hours
Connect Pediatrics is looking for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Assistant to join our team in the Frisco, Little Elm, Aubrey, and surrounding areas. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in collaboratively ensuring that pediatric patients receive comprehensive and well-coordinated care in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy. (SLP only)
- Use clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician’s orders. (SLP only)
- Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
- Engage with patients' families, providing regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans addressing each patient’s diverse needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation reflecting care provided and communicate changes in treatment plans to the healthcare team.
- Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
Requirements
- A valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Pathology Assistant license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS/CPR License.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automotive insurance.
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Pay
- Speech-Language Pathologist: $55.00 to $65.00 per visit
- Speech Pathology Assistant: $40.00 to $45.00 per visit
