Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Onsite - Leave from Sept - Dec 2026

Temporary, onsite position in Linden, MI from September to December 2026.

About the role

E-Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to K-3rd grade students. The successful candidate will help students develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
• Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational team members to support students' communication goals.
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Michigan SLP license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Current ASHA certification.
• Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology (preferred).

Schedule

• Part-time: 26 hours per week (6.5 hours/day, 4 days/week).
