Start Date: August 2026 for the 26/27 school year. Full-time position (37.5 hours/week) serving K-12 students in Columbia, SC. Onsite only.

About the Role

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to support students' communication goals.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and timely.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SC SLP License and Teaching Certificate required.
  • Current ASHA certification required.
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology (preferred).
