Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Onsite - 26/27 School Year

Location: Lompoc, CA – Onsite only
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

About the Role

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
• Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational team members to support students' communication goals in classroom and other settings.
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote speech and language development.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current ASHA certification (CCCs).
• California CTC credential.
• Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology.
