Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) In House

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Wabasso, MN. This position involves planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate, following established standards, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to ensure carry-over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversee and implement proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to establish resident needs in a timely manner with clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• Active SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Job Type

Full Time (with a $5,000 sign-on bonus), Part Time, or PRN.
