Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)- Home Care

Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting. We are currently hiring a full-time SLP to provide home-based care throughout Queens & Long Island to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Home care experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy

Pay

$110,000.00-$115,000.00/annually
