Speech Language Pathologist SLP Full Time

Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
• Handle related documentation and communication.
• Function under physician’s orders.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48.00/hr to $63.33/hr.
