About the role
Full-time, non-exempt Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting both Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings at the same location. In-house Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) services are provided; training and competency development are available for candidates eager to expand their clinical skills.
Schedule
Day shift, 4–5 days per week with flexible weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and techniques.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a master’s-level Speech Language Pathology program accredited by the Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
- Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
- Meets education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by ASHA.
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Prior experience in an acute-care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Pay
Hourly range: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour.
