Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
About the role
Join the Flywheel Centers team as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Play a vital leadership role in evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborate with clients, their families, and the Flywheel team to guide, empower, and create meaningful changes for the children we serve. This is an excellent role for someone looking for a few extra hours a week as supplemental income, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech/language disorders.
- Develop individualized and tailored treatment plans based on client’s evaluation and assessment.
- Provide speech and language therapy to clients with communication disorders, in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure treatment plans are effective and client-centered.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.
- Attend meetings and provide reports as needed.
Requirements
- SLP License (Required)
- State License (Required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with children on the autistic spectrum.
