Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Facility: Beach Breeze Rehab & Care, West Palm Beach, FL
Schedule: Part-Time, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay: $53–$55 per hour

About The Role

Beach Breeze Rehab & Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The SLP will provide individualized therapy to help residents improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while supporting their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech, language, and swallowing treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and adapt activities based on each resident’s needs and goals.
• Recommend and train residents in the use of adaptive communication devices.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing teams.
• Supervise and provide guidance to supportive therapy staff as appropriate.
• Participate in care plan meetings and monitor resident progress.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.

Requirements

• ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Eligible for or holder of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for providing quality care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
