About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation Speech Therapist, you will be a part of a growing team. Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients by following an individualized plan of care after an evaluation. You are expected to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate in a SNF setting. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills are essential, as are the abilities to work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients following an individualized plan of care after an evaluation.
- Administer standardized speech/language assessments.
- Conduct swallowing evaluations.
- Develop treatment plans.
- Maintain and monitor patients' progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of [State Name].
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred.
