Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Granville, New York seeks a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join an experienced team in a state‑of‑the‑art rehab gym, helping patients regain independence and achieve rehab goals.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents & develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress & prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP license (or actively working toward licensure for new graduates).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting preferred; new graduates with relevant experience encouraged to apply.
