Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $15,000 Sign On Bonus

About the role

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are integral in offering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Takes initiative, responsibility, and action daily, understanding the physical, mental, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Evaluates communication skills and/or swallowing function, and provides goal-oriented treatment to enhance communication and/or swallowing capabilities.
• Maintains an inventory of supplies and collaborates with other therapy staff to ensure quality service delivery.
• Participates in peer reviews and performance appraisals, and assists in developing and revising departmental policies and procedures.
• Shares professional knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
• Alerts management to educational needs.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
