Speech Language Pathologist - Schools
About the role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting students in achieving their communication and educational goals. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will conduct student evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with each student's plan of care. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure accurate documentation of services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student outcomes.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student education planning when appropriate.
- Follow all professional, ethical, state, and federal standards of practice.
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required based on state or contract requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethical practice.
- Current CPR certification, if applicable.
- TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray if required.
- Current health certificate as required by state regulations or contract guidelines.
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Schedule
37.5 hours per week, 36-week contract duration. Estimated start date: August 17, 2026.
