Speech Language Pathologist (School Services) - $57 per hour

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract position in Belvidere, Illinois. The role starts ASAP, with a duration of 13 weeks (or 9‑week contracts as noted), 37.5 hours per week on an 8‑hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assess, screen, evaluate students and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans.
• Establish a positive learning environment and provide response‑to‑intervention services tailored to each student’s needs.
• May be asked to supervise speech‑language pathology assistants.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• Current Illinois SLP License.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ASHA Certification.
• School‑based experience preferred but not required.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $52.65 – $56.70 per hour.
• Assignment bonus: $3,000 (conditions apply; consult recruiter).
• Compensation based on qualifications and experience.
