Job Summary

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Greenfields of Geneva, IL. The position offers flexible hours and a supportive environment within a diverse CCRC setting including skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, memory care, on-campus home health, and outpatient clinics.

About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide therapy services to patients across various care settings within the CCRC. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and contribute to the community's overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized speech, language, and swallowing therapy sessions to patients in a variety of care settings.
  • Assess and document patient progress using standardized assessments and clinical judgment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical observations.
  • Participate in staff meetings and other departmental activities to stay updated on best practices and new developments in the field.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Experience in geriatric care preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
