About the role
Engage Senior Therapy provides on-site physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to senior living communities across New England. The team focuses on delivering compassionate, relationship-centered care to help patients maintain mobility, independence, and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate speech therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at various functional levels.
- Work across multiple locations, providing speech therapy services to a diverse range of patients.
- Conduct evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs.
- Provide care with a high degree of independence in assisted living communities, while being supported by the broader Engage team for guidance and resources.
- Provide patient and caregiver education to support therapy goals.
- Accurately document care using EMR in compliance with state and facility standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Active or pending SLP license.
- Strong interest or experience in geriatric care.
- Skilled in communication, interpersonal relationships, and patient engagement.
- Passionate about providing evidence-based, high-quality care.
- Committed to learning, growing, and contributing to a team.
