Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for Early Start clients alongside expert clinicians (e.g., Occupational Therapists, BCBAs) to guide individualized intervention plans.
- Provide consultation services tailored to each child’s needs, working with Program Supervisors to recommend strategies, communication supports, and meaningful goals.
- Deliver one-on-one speech and language therapy targeting vocabulary, sentence structure, articulation, social communication, and feeding/swallowing (when appropriate).
- Accurately track hours, document progress, and submit reports on time.
Requirements
- Current California SLP license (must be kept up to date).
- At least one year of experience working with young children with developmental delays.
- Clear background and driving record (safety is a top priority).
- Current TB clearance, BLS certification, and other required health and safety credentials (or willingness to obtain them).
