About the role
This role is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with up to 28 hours weekly and potential for up to 40 hours with travel to a secondary location.
Responsibilities
- Conducting evaluations
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Re-assessing progress
- Managing documentation
- Serving as the sole clinician on-site when needed
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals
- Participating in program planning
- Performing assessments and explaining findings to patients and families
- Adapting treatment protocols based on patient conditions
- Completing discharge planning
- Ensuring accurate documentation
- Managing schedules efficiently
- Mentoring students and new staff
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of a clinical fellowship year
- Valid licensure in relevant regions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ASHA Certification
