Speech Language Pathologist, NICU/Pediatric Clinical Fellow Year

About the role

Provides screening, assessing, and providing treatment to NICU, PICU, Pediatric IP and OP patients with feeding deficits, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Responsible for planning, implementing and documenting patient evaluations and specific treatment plans for individual patients. Practice in accordance with the Speech Pathology Standards of Practice, state and health regulations, and the policies and procedures of Sutter Health.

Responsibilities

• Screening and assessing patients with feeding deficits, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Providing treatment to patients in NICU, PICU, Pediatric IP and OP settings
• Planning, implementing, and documenting patient evaluations and specific treatment plans
• Adhering to Speech Pathology Standards of Practice, state and health regulations, and Sutter Health policies and procedures

Requirements

• Master's: Graduate of accredited language and speech pathology program
• SAP License evidencing program graduation
• CDCA-SLPA certification from the California Department of Consumer Affairs
• RPE certification
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
