Speech Language Pathologist I
Entry-level Speech-Language Pathologist position in the Career Advancement Program (CAP) supporting the Bridge Program. Clinicians evaluate and treat children (ages 3–21+) with neurorehabilitation, feeding, swallowing, motor-speech, and augmentative-communication needs after inpatient rehab discharge.

Ideal candidates are comfortable asking evidence-based questions, collaborating with community providers, families, and schools, and pursuing ongoing professional development. The role involves close teamwork with occupational therapy, physical therapy, and neuropsychology to expand the Bridge Program.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and deliver developmentally appropriate intervention services following contemporary, evidence-based practice and department quality standards.
- Incorporate cultural-competence and family-centered care into all clinical interactions.
- Complete case management, written documentation, and financial activities in line with department policies.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, schools, and other providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
- Demonstrate leadership through planned professional development that advances the department’s clinical, educational, research, and advocacy goals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR certification.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (credentialing must be completed within 3 months of hire).
- Neurorehabilitation or inpatient hospital experience preferred.
Schedule
40 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday, 10-hour shifts.
Pay
Annual salary range (based on 40 hours per week): $87,095.44 to $130,643.17, dependent on relevant experience.
