About the Role
The Speech Therapist provides skilled speech/language pathology services to patients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities, tailoring evaluations and treatments to individual needs. Working primarily in home health, the role involves assessing patient progress, consulting with healthcare teams, and promoting patient independence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver speech therapy services in patients' homes.
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Training in specialized speech/language therapy as needed.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
