Speech Language Pathologist Home Care
About the role
BJC Home Care is seeking a speech language pathologist to provide quality care to patients in the Greater Sullivan area. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. This is an as-needed position with cell phones and laptops provided while working. There is also a generous mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate. Applicants must register with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry.
Overview
BJC Home Care offers a wide range of home care services, including skilled nursing, adult and pediatric hospice, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, and specialty programs like asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic, and wound care. The Sullivan Intermittent Home Care Department serves Sullivan and surrounding counties, offering JCAHO-accredited, multidisciplinary care.
Responsibilities
- Instructs patients and families in treatment procedures.
- Evaluates patients and adjusts treatment plans to maximize benefits.
- Convenes with physicians and other practitioners to refine treatment plans and integrate therapy with other care aspects.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- No supervisor experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
